Toshiba Tablet PC kinda hybrid

Posted by Olga Kits under Tablet PC Hardware

Saw this curious looking Toshiba Tablet PC/ laptop at Fosfor Gadgets.

It seems to be running OneNote. Looks like the CPU / hard drive is in the keyboard part of the laptop yet you can separate the display but need the wireless to keep connected to the keyboard/cpu part. Hmmm, bit of a funny animal.

See more pictures here at Fosfor gadgets.

OK, so I could take it to a business meeting, take notes, and read stuff without the base. I’m curious as to how much can really be done without the “base” portion of this unit. If you have to have the base close by for processing, is it really a Tablet PC (even if it’s running Win XP TE or Vista)?
At least with the convertibles you can swing the screen around and pretend the other part’s not there (sorry… I had to get a slate/hybrid dig in here somewhere).

Couldn't find your convert utility. Check that you have ImageMagick installed.
